The NEA Hispanic Caucus is committed to supporting our immigrant and refugee communities. In order to achieve this goal, we have decided to we organize in new and innovative ways. That includes a relaunch the sale of our "Immigrant Rights" organizing gear and #RedforEd "DREAMers Welcome" organizing gear.
Historically, we have used the profits from the sale of these items for grassroots organizing initiatives in an effort to protect, and defend, immigrant families. In light of COVID, and it's devastating affects on communities of color, we have decided to amplify this work and utilize the profits from the sale of these items to fund scholarships for immigrant/refugee NEA Aspiring Educators of color.
